The Shopster affiliate program enables you to promote and sell Shopster's world class e-commerce solution and earn a commission on every sale you make through your website.

The Shopster affiliate program team will provide you with an awesome selection of tools, banners, reviews, content, and text links for you to put on your website, or place in e-mails. Each time a visitor clicks on a text link, content link, or banner and purchases a subscription to Shopster, you earn up to $US70!

How Much Money Can I Earn and How Do I Get Paid?

How much commission will I get?

The Shopster affiliate program will pay you:

$5 Lead Bounty – Receive $5 for every new customer that signs up through your links for a Shopster 7-day free trial with a valid credit card.

$25 per Monthly Subscriber – Receive $20 commission + the $5 bounty on each sale through your links of a $128 monthly subscription.

$70 per Annual Subscriber – Receive $65 commission + the $5 bounty on the sale through your links of a $329 annual subscription.

* Shopster Selling Tip: Annual subscriptions offer the best value for the consumer and the most income for you. Promote this plan first to make the most sales and the most money including a 2% commission bonus on annual sales.

How does the Shopster affiliate program know that certain orders came from my Website and that I should get the commission?

After you are accepted onto the Shopster affiliate program run through Shareasale, you will be assigned a unique affiliate identification number. This unique identifier allows Shareasale - our affiliate marketing partner - to track your sales and commissions. Shareasale will provide you with access to Shopster's tools, banners, text links, content links, and linking codes which will all include your unique affiliate identification number.

How and when do affiliates get paid?

Affiliate partners are paid monthly. Checks are mailed by Shareasale to the billing address submitted on your application. Shareasale can also pay affiliates from certain countries by direct deposit into their bank account.

What is a payment threshold?

A payment threshold is the dollar amount in commissions that must be accumulated before an affiliate receives their paycheck. Shareasale has a payment threshold of $50. They issue payments via check and Direct Deposit on the 20th of each month. These payments are made to those affiliates who have reached the $50 minimum BEFORE the end of the previous month. For example, if you earn $60 by the end of September, you are paid this commission on October 20th.

Do I keep commissions on cancelled orders?

No. All commissions are updated daily for returns and adjustments. If you receive a commission check before an order is cancelled, your commission balance will show a negative amount that will be deducted from future commissions.

What is the return day cookie policy?

Return days - or revisit days - are the number of days that can elapse between an initial visit by a customer you referred, and a return visit in which that customer makes a purchase.

The Shopster affiliate program offers a lifetime cookie policy for affiliates. This means that you will get credit for all sales you referred to Shopster.com for as long as the cookie is on your customer's PC. If a customer visits your site, clicks on a link, and doesn't purchase that day, but does place a web order at any time in the future – you'll still earn a commission! This greatly increases your conversion rates and earning potential.

Where can I track my orders and commissions?

Once you join Shareasale you will receive a username and password via email. When you login to your Shareasale account - at http://www.shareasale.com/a-login.cfm - you will be able to access Shopster's; tools, banners, coupons, content links, and text links in addition to many reporting tools which will allow you to track your orders and commissions.

How does the Shopster affiliate program work?

The Shopster affiliate program can be explained in 3 easy steps:

Step 1: Send your website visitors to Shopster.com
Once you are approved as a Shopster affiliate, you'll be able to place Shopster tools, banners, coupons, text links, and promotional copy on your website (you will be able to get all of these through your Shareasale account). You will have a unique affiliate identification number to track your sales. This unique affiliate identification number is included in every HTML link you grab from your affiliate account in Shareasale. When someone clicks through one of your Shopster links they are led to Shopster.com. If that visitor signs up or makes a purchase, your unique HTML link tracks your sales and commissions.
Step 2: A visitor you send sign-ups for a free 7 day trail - you receive $5
For each of your customer that complete the registration form for a 7 day trial and provides a valid credit card number (for identity verification) $5 will be credited to your Shareasale account. This is a lead fee, no subscription sale has occured at this time.
Step 3: Your website visitors purchase a Shopster subscription
At the end of the 7 day trial all registrants will be billed for either the annual or monthy subscription they selected. Once a day, a record is sent to Shareasale reporting all successful sales made that day.
Step 4: Shareasale credits your sales to you and pays your commissions
All purchases made by customer with your affiliate identification number will be credited to you by our affiliate marketing partner, Shareasale. You will earn:
- $20 per Monthly Subscriber (Sale of a $128 monthly subscription.)
- $65 per Annual Subscriber (Sale of a $329 annual subscription.)

What types of communications will the Shopster affiliate program team send me?

The Shopster affiliate program team will occasionally send you e-mail messages that include; special offers and promotions, marketing tips, and updates on affiliate policies. All communications will include helpful information to assist you increase your earning potential. Shareasale may also occasionally send announcements to partners.

Is there a Shopster affiliate agreement?

The Shopster affiliate program does have an affiliate agreement that all affiliates must review and accept when registering to participate in the program through Shareasale. The affiliate agreement includes guidelines on website content, intellectual property, and the affiliate program components.

Are there rules on trademarks?

Shopster trademarks may not be altered, modified, amended, or changed in any way. The Shopster affiliate program agreement details the use of trademarks by affiliates. Failure to comply with this agreement will result in permanent removal from the affiliate program. It's easy! Just complete and submit an online application through Shareasale. You will receive an instant e-mail confirming receipt of your application. We will review your application within 48 business hours and notify you of your approval status. Once approved, we will send you everything you need to start making money as a Shopster affiliate partner.

Do I have to own a website to be a Shopster affiliate?

No. Most Shopster affiliates promote the program through a website or multiple sites. However, you can also have success promoting Shopster with HTML e-mail campaigns, Blogs and forum posts. As long as your unique commission tracking code is included in the links in your Web site, Blog, Post or HTML-based e-mail you will be credited with the lead or sale. The Shopster affiliate team provides link support for affiliates, but does not provide website support.

Can an affiliate be from outside of the United States?

Yes. We accept affiliates from anywhere in the world.

Does my website meet any qualifications for me to become a Shopster affiliate?

Most websites qualify for participation in our program, and we encourage all interested individuals to submit an application. The Shopster affiliate team does reserve the right to refuse membership to a website or revoke a membership at any time if we feel it contains objectionable materials. Websites that will NOT be approved into our program include:

Websites that are unavailable to view, or are under construction.
Aesthetically unpleasing websites.
Websites containing sexually explicit materials
Websites promoting alcoholic beverages or excessive drinking/drug use
Websites promoting discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
Websites that promote violence or illegal activities
Websites containing extreme religious content

Does it cost me anything to become an affiliate?

No. It is absolutely free to join and participate in Shopster's affiliate program. There is no charge to apply, and no minimum sales requirements.

How Should I Set Up My Website?

How should I design my website?

You are free to design your website any way you like, as long as it does not violate our affiliate agreement or contain objectionable content. Affiliates can use our promotional copy and links on their websites. Our newsletters will also provide helpful marketing tips on our products, promotions, and positioning.

How often can I change the banners, graphics, and promotional copy on my website?

You are welcome to change your website content as frequently as you like. The Shopster affiliate program team will recommend top-converting links for you to use, however you can test any of the links available to determine what works best on your website. New banners, coupons, graphics, and promotional copy will be added frequently to the Shareasale network, so be sure to check back often. Affiliates will also receive announcements and newsletters promoting the new links and promotions.

Can I use content from Shopster.com on my own website?

Affiliates should NOT use content directly off of Shopster.com without prior written approval from our company as stated in our affiliate agreement. Instead, the Shopster affiliate program team provides specially developed promotions, banners, text links, product pictures, and promotional copy to partners to use on their Web sites. If there is something you would like to use on your website that you do not see available, please contact us at: profit@shopster.com.

What is a two tier affiliate program?

Single tier affiliate programs pay out commissions on one level. For each sale you make, you will receive a commission. No more, no less.

With two-tier affiliate marketing programs like Shopster's, you are not only paid for the direct traffic or sales that you refer to us, but also for all traffic or sales referred by other affiliates who have joined our affiliate program through your recommendation.

The second-tier affiliate commission is another easy way for you to earn more money through your website. Simply place a link on your website to the affiliate signup page on Shopster (you can get this link for your Shareasale account). Then, encourage your friends, website visitors, and other webmasters to sign up through your site to the Shopster affiliate program. When someone signs up through your link, they automatically become a second-tier affiliate of you. That means you earn the second-tier affiliate commission on any sales they refer.

How much will Shopster pay me for referring affiliates to the Shopster affiliate program?

You will receive a $6 commission for each monthly sale and $12 for each annual sale the affiliates you refer to us make.

How do I receive second-tier commissions?

First, you need to have a link on your site to the affiliate signup page for Shopster. Next, you need others to follow that link, sign up in Shareasale, and start promoting the system. If one of your second-tier affiliates refers a sale, once the sale is filled, that affiliate earns the first-tier commission for the particular product and you earn the second-tier commission at the same time. You can see your second-tier affiliate commissions by logging into your Shareasale affiliate account.

How can I sign up other affiliates?

Everyone benefits when you sign up other affiliates through you as second-tier affiliates. The process is simple:

First login to your Shareasale affiliate account for Shopster.
Next, get the link that goes to the affiliate signup page for Shopster.
After that, copy the URL and add it as a link to your page (you can call it "Shopster Affiliate Program", "Join our affiliate program", or anything you want).
Finally, get others to follow the signup link from your site.

If someone follows that link and signs up, they are automatically credited to you as a second-tier affiliate which means you earn the additional second-tier commission on any sales that second-tier affiliate refers.
