Hey,

I'm employee number two. A few years back there were the founders, a developer, and me. I've watched Shopster grow from a huge flowchart on the wall to a major online business solution.

I've been here for all the big things: When we bought the foosball table (asset tag: 00001), when our slo-pitch team won its first game ("Default!"), Johnny breaking his glasses at the dodgeball tournament (twice), Sarath getting run-over playing Hold 'Em at our weekly poker game (who goes all-in with two-seven off-suit?), and when I totally aced "Cracklin' Rosie" at our monthly karaoke night. Oh yeah… Plus, there was all that business stuff like leaving beta, making our first sale (a "Dr. No" poster), processing our first return (a "Dr. No" poster), moving to a bigger office to accommodate the growing staff, and when we hit over a thousand retailers (celebratory golf shirts!).

What I'm trying to get at is how awesome Shopster is. We've got a lively culture and a dynamic workplace. We've managed to retain the feeling of a start-up (what with its entrepreneurial environment and all), while moving into the realm of a full-blown, functioning business where there isn't a couch named Napster (anymore). We take our work seriously, and are serious about making Shopster successful. Everyone here's a part of that success, and we're looking for more parts… as it were.
