Intermediate ASP.NET/C# Developers Needed Immediately!
Shopster.com is looking for ASP.NET/C# developers who are interested in working in a fun and fast paced environment. This position is within our growing Research & Development team, which is currently responsible for building out the Shopster platform as well as coordinating directly with the key business groups within the company. The chosen candidate will have an opportunity to learn advanced concepts for managing enterprise level applications and databases, as well as gain experience in other relevant areas of technology.
Qualifications:
- Very strong C# and ASP.NET background.
- 4+ years experience developing on the .NET Platform.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server and Transact-SQL.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Web 2.0 design concepts and technologies (CSS, HTML, Javascript, Ajax, prototype, script.aculo.us, etc…) is essential.
- Previous experience working within a team development environment.
Competencies:
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated critical thinking abilities, consistently delivers high quality work.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new skills in the use of software development methodologies and tools.
- Self motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Bottom line — love to code!
