Drop Shipping a Win-Win for Makers and Entrepreneurs
If you are thinking about getting into drop shipping, then you might just be making one of the best decisions that you could possibly make for your financial future. Dropship sources offer almost every conceivable type of product, and they are willing to ship products in single units under your company's name. As long as you can set up a store front on the Internet with a good marketing plan, you can sell practically anything - electronics, consumer products, agricultural & industrial products, office equipment/ supplies, hobby gear, recreational/sporting goods, clothing, furniture, and the list goes on.
The thing about drop shipping is that the actual source of the product is invisible to the customer. As the owner of the store front, you are able to build your own database of customers by agreement with the manufacturer, and you have all the direct marketing advantages. But since the dropship sources are in control of the inventory and shipping, you don't have to do any of the work that relates to the products or the transmission of those products to the customers.
Drop shipping provides maximum flexibility and cost savings. If a product does not sell well online, for example, you can pull the advertising instantly with very little cost to you, outside of the actual time it took to build and test the web marketing effort. It won't hurt your store front to leave the page with that product on it though, because it doesn't cost anything to you. The dropship sources are sure to have other products that are more profitable, and you can simply focus your marketing efforts on another product that is likely to sell better.
Manufacturers benefit from drop shipping because they have people promoting their products at no cost to them, and you benefit from having someone to deal with storing, managing and shipping your inventory of products. It's a win-win situation.
